HR/Recruiter - Direct Hire - 35K

Staff Source is looking to hire a HR Generalist/Recruiter for a client located in Knox, Indiana. Candidate must have at least 2 years experience in heavy recruiting in a manufacturing environment. Experience with or background in writing employee handbooks, policies or procedures is a preferred.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
o Develop HR programs from ground up.
o Meet with department managers to identify staff vacancies.
o Recruit, interview and select applicants.
o Fill open positions in a timely manner.
o Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
o Research and recommend new sources for both active and passive candidate recruiting.
o Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other
position appropriate venues.
o Utilize the Internet for recruitment:
Post positions to appropriate Internet sources, improve
the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting, research new ways of using the
Internet for recruitment.
o Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
o Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
and implementation.
o Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination,
leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
o Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
o Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and
administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Requirements
o Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
o At least 2 years experience in HR and especially recruitment.
o Computer proficient with vast knowledge of different computerized HR systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
