In support and under the direction of the Quality Manager, Primary Function is to :
analyzes and solves quality problems, prepares inspection plans and instructions, selects sampling plan applications, prepares procedures, trains inspectors, performs audits, analyzes quality costs and other quality data, and applies fundamental statistical methods for process control.

Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests to acquire product and material data for analysis Provide accept/reject qualification based on test results Maintain records of all testing procedures and results Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion Participate in Quality audits Assist with RCA & Corrective Action identification/implementation Identify and pursue Quality Improvement projects/activities Analyze Quality data for process control Perform other duties as requested by supervision Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma Mathematical aptitude and organization Ability to apply statistical methods and SPC 2-3 years experience with quality control systems Computer literacy including spreadsheets Ability and willingness to learn Ability to physically perform responsibilities above Incumbents in this position are required to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in job focused Safety Concepts and Procedures, Computer Use, Quality Standards, Process Operations, Technical and Maintenance Skills, and Administrative Procedures.
Desirable Skills and/or Training:
Education beyond high school Quality Technician certification Experience operating lab equipment ISO 9001:
2015 internal auditor certification Ability to use computer software to analyze data (Minitab, Excel) Proficiency in report writing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiarity with OSHA industrial standards
