Commercial grade furniture manufacturer is looking for an experienced wood finisher to perform wood finishing duties:
sand, stain, paint and topcoat wood products.
Candidate must have a steady work history, a positive attitude, and a willingness and ability to learn and grow in fast paced, high volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Apply wood finishes to furniture, and other wooden surfaces - Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling cracks, and applying sealants - Mix and apply stains, varnishes, and lacquers to achieve desired color and finish - Use hand tools and equipment such as brushes, sprayers, and sanders to apply finishes - Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for flaws or imperfections - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- 2 years
